K-Pop 댄스 특강

하프텀이 끝나고 돌아온 레딩한글학교, 부쩍 추워진 날씨에도 교실 안은 뜨거운 열기로 가득했습니다. 바로 아이들이 기다리던 케이팝 댄스 특강이 있었기 때문입니다.

최근 케이팝이 영국을 비롯한 전 세계에서 큰 인기를 얻고 있는 가운데, 한글학교 친구들도 자연스럽게 관심이 높아지고 있습니다. 이에 발맞추어 한글학교에서는 도연수 선생님과 함께하는 특별 댄스 수업을 준비했습니다.

이번 특강에서 유치부와 초등부 친구들은 '사자보이즈'의 <소다팝>을, 초등 고학년과 중고등부 친구들은 '제니'의 <like Jennie> 음악으로 신나는 안무를 배웠습니다. 처음에는 조금 부끄러워하던 친구들도 금세 음악과 리듬에 맞춰 즐겁게 몸을 움직이며 활기찬 시간을 보냈습니다.

이번 특강을 통해 친구들은 한글학교에서 한국어와 한국 문화를 배우는 것뿐만 아니라, 몸으로 표현하며 즐겁게 한국문화를 경험하며, 자신감도 함께 성장시키는 소중한 경험을 했습니다. 앞으로도 레딩 한글학교는 아이들이 한국 문화를 다양하게 접할 수 있는 기회를 지속적으로 마련할 예정입니다.

After the half-term break, Reading Korean School was filled with warmth and excitement, despite the chilly weather outside. The reason was none other than the long-awaited K-pop dance workshop that the students had been looking forward to.

With K-pop gaining huge popularity not only in the UK but all around the world, our students have also shown great interest in Korean music and dance. In response, the school organised a special dance session with teacher Yeonsoo Do.

During the workshop, the younger and lower primary students learned the choreography for “Soda Pop” by Saja Boys, while the upper primary and secondary students danced to Jennie’s “Like Jennie.” Although some were a little shy at first, they soon joined in the rhythm and moved to the music with bright smiles and great energy.

Through this special session, the students not only learned about the Korean language and culture, but also had the chance to express themselves through movement, enjoying Korean culture in a fun and creative way while building confidence and teamwork.

Reading Korean School will continue to offer opportunities for our students to experience and enjoy various aspects of Korean culture.
