목련이 흐드러진 교정에서 열린 레딩한글학교의 봄방학식과 제 7회 시 낭송회 소식을 전합니다.

• ’애국가 챌린지’ : 누리반 꼬마들의 삐뚤배뚤한 정성부터 초등반 중등반 형님들의 의젓한 원고지 쓰기까지!
  특히 이번엔 학부모님들까지 함께 참여해 나라 사랑의 마음이 두 배로 빛났습니다.
  한 학기 성실함의 상징 '샛별상' 수상자들과 든든한 보조교사 학부모님들께도 뜨거운 박수를 보냈습니다.

• 시낭송회: 벌써 7회를 맞이한 시 낭송회는 그야말로 '창의력이 빛나는 예술' 그 자체였죠!

  ー　누리반: 심장 폭격! 또박또박 귀여운 목소리 자기소개와 발표
  ー　한얼•훈민반: 직접 만든 의상, 찰흙 시화, 신나는 의성어 의태어 노래
  ー　정음•세종반: 번득이는 아이디어의 시와 삼행시와 감성 사진 시
  ー　아름반: 영문 시를 한글로 번역하는 '프로페셔널' 포스

"Cheers to our lovely students!" 봄방학 동안 가족과 즐거운 추억 많이 만들고, 한 뼘 더 성장한 모습으로 다시 만나요.

<Reading in Bloom: A Symphony of Poetry and Hearts!>

Celebrating Reading Korean School's Spring Term Finale & the 7th Poetry Recitation

As the magnolias burst into full bloom across our campus, Reading Korean School marked the end of a wonderful term with our Spring Break Ceremony and the 7th Annual Poetry Recitation.

We kicked off the day with our National Anthem (Aegukga) Writing Challenge, a heartfelt tribute to our roots. It was a proper masterclass in dedication:

• Our Littlest Stars (Nuri class): Warmed everyone's hearts as they traced each letter with wobbly but incredibly determined hands.

• The junior and Seniors: Showed real maturity, carefully filling their traditional manuscript paper with focus and poise.

• A Family Affair: What made this year truly special was the active participation of our parents, doubling the sense of pride and love for our heritage.

• Cheers to the Winners: A massive round of applause went to our 'Saet-byeol (Morning Star) Award' winners for their stellar commitment this term. We also shared a warm "thank you" to our fantastic parent-volunteers, who have been the absolute backbone of our school as teaching assistants.

A Masterclass in Creativity: The 7th Poetry Recitation!

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the 7th Annual Poetry Recitation, which was quite literally a "blooming brilliant" showcase of artistry and imagination. Each class brought their own unique flair to the stage:

• Nuri class: An absolute heart-stealer! A "deadly cute" self-introduction and presentation delivered in a clear, steady voice.

• Han-eol & Hunmin class: Took things to a professional level with bespoke, handmade costumes and clay art displays. Their rhythmic performance, blending onomatopoeia with song, was a proper treat.

• Jeong-eum & Sejong class: Impressed the audience with their sharp wit, featuring clever acrostic poems and emotive "Photo-Poetry" that captured deep feelings.

• Aleum class: Our eldest students flexed their bilingual muscles, showcasing their
  "pro-status" by translating English poems into Korean with remarkable sophistication.

As we head into the break, we wish all our pupils a cracking time making wonderful memories with their families. We look forward to seeing you all back, looking even more grown-up and tall, next term!
